This is going to be the busiest quarter of the year..we're counting more or less than a hundred days before our big day and a number of major tasks are awaiting us.
3 months before
1. We attended another Themes and Motifs wedding expo at SMX convention center (seems to be the last fair in our list). Booked Chocolate Confections for the male sponsors gifts and the rest of the time was spent on free photo booths and wedding ideas-grabbing.
It's a simple loose layout with a vintage touch and color.
I was 90% decided but groom-to-be was hesitant because he wanted another design. I wanted a simple vintage layout, groom was thinking for a more modern and unique one.
5. Unlike the gifts we bought for the male principal sponsors, I decided to personally shop and wrap the gifts for the female principal sponsors. With the help of Ms. Tara of Little Saigon Manila, I was able to purchase unique designs of shawls and scarves imported from Saigon and packed it with Filipino roasted coffee beans I bought from Figaro and wrapped it in a specialized box from Papemelroti; made our personalized monogram and thank you note.
Look at this lovely shawls from Little Saigon Manila..
4. Then we started paying, one after another, our wedding suppliers:
Marry Me Jewelry - Paid in full and had the fitting for our wedding bands. My ring fits me well, but groom's was a little small in his big finger. So we will have to return for another adjustment before the final finishing and engraving.
Chocolate Confections - Paid 50% and just waiting for the items to be delivered on the 1st of December, cash balance on delivery.
Zentaochi Wedding Apparel - Paid 75% of the balance and just waiting for the next and final fitting schedule of our entourage.
Written in Ink - Paid 80% of the balance and sked for another lay-out and mock up printing of wedding invites.
We allotted about Php5,000 for contingencies for our scheduled pre-nuptial photoshoot set on the 1st week of October.

1. So here's the tentative plan:
October is my birth month, and the 7th marks my 29th years of existence:-) And so Me and Groom are on leave at work on the 1st week of October to go home to Naga City and work on the following: (I did separate posts for each)
a. Food tasting for our wedding banquet
b. Do the pre-nup photoshoot at Naga City (This was cancelled and resked due to conflicts in schedule)
c. Attend Pre-Cana Seminar at the parish family ministry office
d. Engagement party at our home and celebrate my birthday as well:-)
c. Attend Pre-Cana Seminar at the parish family ministry office
d. Engagement party at our home and celebrate my birthday as well:-)
e. Attend a seminar conducted at the Buhi Municipal Office as a requirement for the application of our Marriage License.
2. And since we will be coming home again a week before the wedding (we're both working in a city 10 hours away by road), we might as well meet the following poeple who have vital participations for our ceremony and wedding banquet:
a. Choir for the wedding ceremony
b. Photographer for the pre-nup briefing
c. Videographer; and
d. Hair and makeup artist
4. Time to pick-up our invitations and start addressing each guests.
5. Then the final fitting of the bridal gown, groom's suit and lady entourage dresses.
1 month before
To do list are as follows:
1. Draft, proofread and print MISALETTE
2. Follow-up RSVPs and finalize guestlists so we can give the final headcount to our caterer. Likewise, we finalize the seating plan.
3. Drafting of the banquet program and find an emcee.
4. Pick-up wedding gown and entourage's dresses.
5. Finalize song list and coordinate with the ceremony chorale and program musicians.
6. Then we started drafting our speeches for the wedding banquet and inform special guests as well who we wanted to deliver their toasts.
Time to update our wedding checklist, shop for small wedding details and accessories, have a little pampering and entrust everything to our friendly and helpful suppliers; and schedule a spiritual time with God and do an advance confession.
