The Hands-On Bride: Quarter 2

9 months before

1. Started drafting the members of the entourage and confirming their acceptance as well.

Initially, we wanted to just have 5 pairs of principal witnesses. However, we find it hard to just take for granted the numerous people who have been great parts of our lives as couple so the count goes to 10 pairs..

There are 3 pairs to carry our wedding symbols, one bestman, five groomsmen, two bridesmaids and seven child attendants.

2. Began searching for the wedding dresses pegs and apparel.

For the female parties:

I always wanted lacy dresses for my girls and a touch of Audrey Hepburn's Casablanca theme and here are my inspirations:

I will try to incorporate these two pegs (the white one above and this black one below) into one little cute royal blue tea-length dress for my bridesmaids. Their pegs is a little conservative to suit their age range.

And this lacy dress below who looks a little mature but demure is for my secondary sponsors..but the dress will be in royal blue color.

This ruffled-lacy dress with flower turban is for our junior flower girl..

For the groom's male parties:

Formal or vintage suit or tux will be the best apparel for the male parties. And these are the inspirations:

And this will be for our male child attendants..

3. Booked the best wedding supplier that will help us create all this clothings we have in mind..and we found a great deal with Ms. Venessa Ocampo of Zentaochi Bridal Shop.

4. Met up with Ms. Ven (wedding apparel supplier) for the initial quotation and contract signing simultaneous with the bride's first fitting.

Paid 50% of the total cost of all female dresses including my bridal gown (which cost me only P10k initial deposit for 9 pegs).

5. Met our photographers, the sales executive of the reception venue, and the ceremony venue.

We started discussing with our photographer the concept, schedule and location for our prenup shoot.

Paid 50% of the total cost for the reception and made an ocular inspection of the venue and discussed the schedules for food tasting and other matters for clarification.

Photos below show pics taken during our ocular at the venue..a wedding banquet is about to start in an hour so we were able to see the setting of the tables and stage.

Paying 50% of the contract cost with Ms. Sharon Manzano
The complimentary glass of beverage served by Avenue Plaza..I forgot what it's called but it taste like lime and blueberry tea..yum!
