Indulge After a Stressful But Exciting Wedding Year!

I simultaneously planned for this trip since January this year. It's been quite a stressful year for us. For everyday, every month for one whole year, all we think about are our wedding preparations and plans. So after all of these, we deserve some indulgences and we decided to have a one-of-a-kind adventure trip to Malaysia.

Why Malaysia? We don't really know...the place just comes out of our mind:-) Maybe because we wanted to have an experience of how truly Asia life can be.

And since we're both adventurous, love food and appreciate Asian cultures, we're both excited to finally pursue this backpacking trip for 9 days plus a side trip to Singapore before heading back home to the Philippines for our first Christmas as a married couple.

And so we're now ready to face a new stage in our lives together as newly-wed couple. Praise be to God for making this year a memorable year for us.  So in return, we shall continue to nourish our family life for the greater glory of God.

When I met Ms. Ven of Zentaochi (who was surprisingly so young, jolly and accommodating), I never had second thoughts of booking her for my bridal gown and entourage apparel. She gave me a fair price of P10,000 for a decent vintage bridal gown and affordable rates for my ladies entourage (starting from P1,500 to P1,800) which I personally chose for our vintage wedding. Groom's 5-piece ensemble costs only P8,500.

Thrice din siguro ako nagpabago bago ng pegs ng gowns ko at mga pegs ng entourage dresses but Ms. Ven is simply the best na mag accommodate ng pabago bago kong isip:-) Thank you so much you made our wedding day extra special for all the pretty dresses you made!

Post-Wedding Blues

And we call it a day! Who would have thought our big day is finally over, and everything went as we wanted it to be, our dream simple wedding...what's left are the empty banquet, the gifts and favors, the souvenir pictures and videos and of course, us alone:-)

And we had a complimentary overnight stay at the hotel to settle all the bills left unpaid, prep up all the things for our trip back to Manila the next day, have a peaceful night rest as newly-wed couple.

We took some photos of the hotel day after the wedding during our intercontinental buffet breakfast at the cafe.

Our First Funny Wedding Dance

This was rehearsed for one day only..we were rushing things and in just a moment, hubby thought of adding a few twist to our entrance to the wedding banquet..and so this funny dance performance :-)

The Wedding Banquet

And so the party resumes immediately after the ceremony..I supposed all our guests are really very hungry because the feeling is mutual.

Aside from the full thirst I'm feeling right now, I seem to get a little dizzy I want to lie down as soon as we got to my bridal suite for a retouch and second hairdo.

All the while, I know a number of people waiting at the lobby...so I braised myself to get going for our dear guests. Drank a full glass of water and abruptly we got off.

The party has to start in a few minutes and our wedding coordinators are busy facilitating the banquet venue..

 ... our wedding favors
(hankies for gents and foldable chic ecobag for ladies)

...the seatplan to facilitate our guests

we're starting it off with a surprised entrance dance performance...

Got some notes from our dear guests as they take the sumptuous meal served at the reception..

...champagne for the toast
our cute Just Married cake with ribbon topper
...the table setting and centerpieces

we have the sumptuous meals served...

... vege meat rollade
 .... grilled fish
 ...honeyed chicken
 ...salad
 ....drinks and desserts

 we've got good friends!
 and my parents' friends..
kins having fun at our photobooth..
...our event was filled with serene and romantic things

 ...money tree

and we did another surprised first gig performance as newly-wed couple :-)
And we said our hearty gratitude to all our dear guests who celebrated this momentous event with us before we finally bid goodbyes...
